The Rockstar’s Metal Desk is a modern home office desk gives you a designated place to write, surf, and create. Wood material

Melamine has become extremely popular in South Africa and we perfectly understand that. This man-made material has most often the look (and even sometimes the feel) of wood but has been made in a factory. It is durable, easy to maintain and has a sophisticated finish that compliments any of the powder coating colours offered.

Steel material

At Metalix we use mild steel tubes and plates. This heavy, durable material is what gives Metalix furniture its signature look. We believe steel can be beautiful and this is shown in the sharp angles and unique designs offered by the Metalix desk range.

Care construction

Sun damage–Melamine is not very sensitive to sunlight however we do not recommend putting your furniture items in direct sunlight.

Cleaning

A damp (never soaking wet) cloth will do it. Dry the surfaces thoroughly afterwards. Melamine is not very sensitive to liquids, but if you spill anything on it, be sure to wipe it dry immediately. If you need to remove any stains, go gently – use mild soap and warm water.

Exposure to modest to moderate amounts of water will cause the wood top to expand. Raise the humidity of the air around the wood to increase the moisture level in the wood and cause it to expand. Please ensure due care when cleaning desk or spilling liquids.

Assembly and packaging

As Metalix delivers nationwide, we have therefore designed this desk to be collapsible.
